They never got to bring their own little girl home but now a Birmingham couple have pledged to campaign to stop other parents going through the same trauma.

Hayley Warwick and her partner Lee Jobbins say their stillborn daughter Isabelle was born “sleeping”.

Although she appeared perfect in every way the placenta had not grown to its full potential, stopping her from getting the vital nutrients she needed.

After the brief but precious time spent with their daughter, Hayley, said: “I want to keep Isabelle’s memory going.” A charity event will be held as her legacy at the Ivy Leaf Club, in Coventry Road, Sheldon, on April 18 with all proceeds going to Little Hearts Matter.

The couple previously raised about £6,000 for the Eden suite - the bereavement ward at Heartlands Hospital where they spent treasured days with Isabelle after she was born in November 2012.

Hayley, from Ward End, was 39 weeks and three days into her pregnancy when she gave birth.

Speaking nearer the time, the 30-year-old said: “Isabelle passed on the morning of the day I was having her. I was lying on the sofa and we were laughing at my belly, and how crazy the baby was going. “If I’d have got her out the day before, she’d be here now.

There’s no way anybody could have known that she was going to go that day.

“People say it gets easier over time, but to me another day is another day I don’t see my baby. So, to me, it gets harder.” The event will be an Elvis Presley night and tickets cost £5.Anyone who would like to donate prizes for raffles and auctions or tickets can call sponsor WH Painter Funeral Directors on 01, Hayley 07572 340 450, Lee 07500 661 294 and Hayley’s dad Paul Warwick 07947 649 495.Per her stats on modelmayhem.com, her measurements are 35-26-35 with a G cup, and she weighs 125 lbs.She is a self-confessed “rock chick” and the youngest of four children. Her father is a property developer and her mother is a chiropodist.
